Toyota Innova MPV EV concept make debuts in Indonesia

The electric-powered Toyota Innova for the first time appeared at the opening of the hybrid 2022 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) automotive exhibition at JI Expo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Thursday (31/3). His appearance was very surprising because automotive enthusiasts had been waiting for it for a long time.

Information about this car is still minimal because it is still a concept, and in the near future it will only be launched in Indonesia.

The Innova EV (electric vehicle) concept as a whole still uses the Innova design. However, the Innova electric car uses a closed grille, there are additional ‘EV’ emblems on the sides and rear, a blue accent logo and of course no exhaust.

This blue accented logo is the hallmark of every “green” Toyota car. Seen from the outside, the interior is still borrowed from the Innova. Then on the seats there are embroidery stitches that read Innova EV.

Then the middle seat is seen using the captain seat model and is equipped with a small table in front of the passengers. This table is attached to the back of the front seat.

Interestingly, this car’s transmission lever has been removed. The car’s fully electric transmission arrangement has adopted a button system.

While the speedometer system looks still analog, it is not digital like most electric cars. The news that blows, the platform on the electric model has been made different from the conventional version, namely the e-TNGA.

When looking at the bottom, the front wheels still use coil spring suspension, and the rear relies on a shock absorber attached to the chassis. The design is relatively compact.
