Suzuki has named Ohme as its exclusive home EV charging partner in the UK as the automaker prepares to roll out its first all-electric model, the e Vitara, across dealerships. The collaboration aims to enhance the ownership experience by offering customers an integrated charging solution for home use.
Under the agreement, Suzuki will recommend Ohme’s chargers to new e Vitara buyers, providing access to home charging hardware, installation services, and after-sales support. Dealerships will feature Ohme products on display, with Ohme also offering dealer training to streamline the process.
“As Suzuki’s first ever electric car, the introduction of e Vitara will be crucial for us in the UK and our partnership with Ohme will play an important part in that car’s success,” said David Kateley, Director of Automobile at Suzuki GB PLC. “Ohme’s cutting edge technology will help to lower running costs for owners, while their commitment to customer service makes them an ideal match for us improving the ownership experience of the e Vitara still further.”
Ohme is the UK’s largest home EV charging provider and has grown rapidly across Europe. Its dynamic smart chargers use real-time grid data and are compatible with time-of-use energy tariffs, allowing EV owners to charge during off-peak periods or when renewable energy input is highest. According to the company, fully charging a 61kWh e Vitara on a tariff such as Intelligent Octopus Go could cost as little as £4.27, based on its 264-mile WLTP range.

The e Vitara will be available with 49kWh and 61kWh battery options and will include a vehicle warranty of up to 10 years or 100,000 miles, including battery coverage.
