The Seres SF5 is an electric car that is claimed to be high performance by DFSK. This car is sold under the sub brand Seres which specializes in selling electric cars.
This SUV uses a Dual Electric Motor where the propulsion system adopted uses all-wheel drive technology.
These two electric motors have the code SEP200AC with a power of 255 kW at the front and HW150 with a power of 150 kW at the rear.
Official records from Research and Development (R&D) show that the Seres SF5’s acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour takes only 4.7 seconds, a figure that is quite fast.
Although not as fast as Tesla’s product line. The Seres SF5 uses a 35 kWH Li-ion battery.
Users of this car can take advantage of a charging station with fast charging capability to charge the battery 20% – 80% in less than 1 hour.
Interestingly, this car also features Intelligent Extended Range Technology. In this car there is still a combustion engine that functions as a generator to recharge the battery’s electrical energy when the condition of the remaining electrical energy in the battery is about 20%. Thanks to this technology, the Seres SF5 can go up to 1,000 kilometers.
The connectivity aspect is also not left behind to be offered to passengers because it gets support from Huawei in the form of the Huawei Intelligence Car (HICar) in the form of a mobile phone mapping method and its function is similar to CarPlay.
HICar is presented to increase Safety so that connectivity will not be disturbed by other devices, Smart Connection which makes it only necessary for passengers to connect their smart phone once and so on, Resource Sharing which allows vehicles and cellphones to share hardware, to Seamless Experience.
