Xpeng has reached a significant milestone with the production of the 50,000th unit of its P7+ electric sedan, five months after the model’s launch. The company shared the achievement on Weibo, highlighting the continued success of one of its best-selling vehicles.
Launched on November 7, 2024, the P7+ has quickly gained traction in the electric vehicle market, with the 10,000th unit rolling off the production line just 20 days after the initial release. Since then, demand for the mid-to-large-size electric sedan has surged, contributing to the company’s strong delivery numbers.

In addition to the milestone, Xpeng unveiled a faster charging variant of the P7+ during the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show. This new version features a battery capable of 5C charging, allowing the vehicle to go from 10 percent to 80 percent charge in just 12 minutes. The earlier variant, equipped with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, supported 3C charging, achieving the same range in 20 minutes. The new P7+ variant is priced at RMB 208,800.
The P7+ has contributed significantly to Xpeng’s sales, with the model accounting for over 25 percent of the company’s deliveries in the first quarter of 2025. The automaker delivered a total of 94,008 vehicles in the first quarter, marking a 330.81 percent increase year-on-year, with 23,885 units of the P7+ delivered during this period.
