Mazda recently offered a glimpse of its upcoming SUV, the CX-90. In the teaser shared by Mazda, you can see the design of the model’s taillights.
This is the second teaser of this SUV shown by Mazda. Most of the CX-90’s design has yet to be shown by Mazda, along with its overall technical specifications and performance.
Mazda’s own CX-90 is the latest flagship SUV that comes with wider, longer and more aggressive proportions than any model Mazda currently sells.
Some time ago, the Japanese manufacturer revealed that the SUV will get a newly developed inline six-cylinder engine after Mazda mentioned the phrase “Inline 6” in a previous teaser.
In addition to conventional engines, the Mazda CX-90 is also rumored to be carrying a performance-oriented plug-in hybrid powertrain, but it is not yet known whether this SUV will also carry an electric powertrain.
The CX-90 will be the second vehicle to join Mazda’s large platform model group when it launches next year, alongside the CX-60. The Mazda CX-90 itself is likely to debut in January 2023.
