The facelifted Audi e-tron is getting closer to entering the production line. Where, this German car manufacturer presents a new prototype at the e-Cannonball in Hamburg, Germany.
Featuring a specially designed camouflage sticker and eye-catching orange accents, this prototype features a new and more distinctive mesh grille. The headlights are updated, so they have new lighting innovations, even though they look familiar.
The new front bumper combines elements from the standard model and a sportier S variant. The most visible change is the more prominent air curtain.
The front has a bumper with a new diffuser. The facelifted version also gets an integrated e-tron badge and updated taillights.
Unfortunately, Audi doesn’t want to talk about this prototype yet, because it still keeps some secrets. Reportedly, the name of this crossover can be replaced with the Audi Q8 e-tron.
Regarding performance, this crossover is rumored to use an electric motor that is more efficient. The energy recovery system is improved and the battery capacity is increased. Where, the prospective Audi Q8 e-tron can cover a distance of up to 600 km in the WLTP cycle. That is, the mileage of the distance increased by 160 km from the model currently marketed.
Currently, the Audi e-tron is equipped with a 95 kWh battery pack. Acceleration on paper, with two electric motors and all-wheel drive, delivers 402 hp in boost mode. Acceleration from 0-100 kph can be reached in 5.5 seconds, with a maximum speed of 200 kph.
