Polestar announced an update for Polestar 2. The update covers three main aspects namely sustainability, technology and design.
The Polestar 2 update from a sustainability perspective includes a lower carbon footprint from the use of renewable energy in the production process.
Polestar also claims to lower its vehicle’s overall carbon footprint by using aluminum which is refined using renewable energy. The aluminum tray carrying the battery casing will see a reduction in carbon dioxide emissions of 1,653 pounds per car.
