Zoox has entered a multi-year partnership with the Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix, becoming the event’s Official Autonomous Ride-Hail Partner. The agreement includes promotional activities during race week and plans to provide autonomous rides to and from Grand Prix Plaza beginning in 2027.
The partnership will expand Zoox’s presence at the annual motorsport event through branding placements and collaborations with local sports and entertainment venues. It also builds on the company’s existing relationship with Atlassian Williams F1 Team.
Zoox’s Operations in Las Vegas
Zoox began developing and testing its autonomous driving technology in Las Vegas in 2019 and launched its robotaxi service in the city in 2025.
The company currently provides rides to destinations around the Las Vegas Strip, including hotels, resorts, entertainment venues and Harry Reid International Airport.
The partnership with the Grand Prix adds another event-related application for its autonomous ride-hailing service. Zoox said its purpose-built robotaxi integrates vehicle hardware, software and operational systems into a single platform.
Race-Week Activities and Partnerships
During race week, Zoox branding will appear at several locations associated with the Grand Prix, including between Turns 15 and 16, on the F1 rooftop LED display, along the Paddock Club escalator and on the Sphere Exosphere.
