Zeekr is set to challenge perceptions of the humble minivan with the introduction of the 009 Grand, a four-seat marvel of luxury and innovation. This new model, slated for unveiling on April 19, promises to revolutionize the minivan segment, traditionally associated with soccer moms, by offering a blend of opulence and functionality.

Details are scant, but Zeekr has teased some key features of the 009 Grand. The exterior boasts subtle enhancements, including additional chrome trim and striking 20-inch “forged disc” wheels with black center caps and an “enchanting laser-etched finish.”

The real magic happens inside, where the 009 Grand shines with two individual rear seats featuring power leg rests and headrests with integrated speakers. These seats are separated by a unique center console that offers drawers, fold-out tables, and an integrated display, likely controlling various functions such as seats, climate control, and entertainment.

A rear partition wall and panoramic glass roof further elevate the interior, complemented by elegant wood trim and distinctive dot-like accents. The highlight, however, is the massive entertainment system, resembling something out of a high-end living room.

While specifics are yet to be confirmed, the standard model’s impressive 140 kWh battery delivers an estimated range of up to 511 miles (822 km) on the CLTC cycle. Powering this luxury minivan is a formidable 536 hp (400 kW / 544 PS) motor, propelling it from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 4.5 seconds.

Zeekr has hinted at a significant price tag, suggesting a cost of around 500,000 yuan ($69,087) for just two seats. More details are expected to be revealed at Auto China, where the 009 Grand is poised to make a grand entrance, challenging perceptions and setting new standards in the minivan segment.
