Zeekr, the electric vehicle (EV) maker under Geely Automobile Holdings, has shared the first official images of its upcoming Zeekr 007 GT. The shooting brake-style model, which was first teased yesterday, has now been shown in full in images released today on Weibo.
The Zeekr 007 GT, which is expected to launch in the second quarter of 2025, is designed for long-distance touring. The company noted that the “GT” designation stands for Grand Tour. Following its introduction in China, the Zeekr 007 GT will be marketed as the Zeekr 7 GT in international markets. It will be the second shooting brake model in Zeekrâs portfolio, following the Zeekr 001, as the company solidifies its position in the segment.
Zeekrâs CEO, Andy An, confirmed during a January 2 sales call that three new models are set to launch in 2025, one each in the second, third, and fourth quarters. The Zeekr 007 GT will be based on the electric sedan Zeekr 007, which has already made significant strides in the market, with 44,451 units delivered from January to November 2024, contributing nearly 23% of Zeekr’s total deliveries.
The Zeekr 001, launched in April 2021, remains one of the companyâs best-sellers, with 92,289 units delivered from January to November 2024, accounting for nearly half of the companyâs total deliveries during that period.
No official pricing has been released for the Zeekr 007 GT yet, though the Zeekr 007 sedan starts at RMB 209,900 ($28,630) in China.
