Chinese electric vehicle maker Zeekr said on Monday it will begin pre-sales of its large hybrid SUV, the Zeekr 9X, on August 29 at the 2025 Chengdu auto show.

The event is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. Beijing time on media day, with the public exhibition running from September 1 to 7 at Western China Expo City in Sichuan province. Zeekr said its booth will be located at H1103 in Hall 11.

“The Zeekr 9X is Zeekr’s first hybrid model, featuring a 2.0T hybrid engine and a full-stack 900-volt hybrid high-voltage architecture,” the company said in a statement. The six-seat, full-size SUV measures 5,239 mm in length, 2,019 mm in width, and 1,819 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,169 mm.

Built on the SEA-S platform, the 9X includes three silicon carbide motors delivering peak output power of 1,030 kW and maximum horsepower of 1,400. The automaker says it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds, comparable to high-performance sports cars. Its 2.0T engine provides peak output of 205 kW and a thermal efficiency exceeding 46 percent.

The model is equipped with a 70-kWh ternary lithium battery, supporting a range of more than 380 km. Charging rates of up to 6C enable the vehicle to charge from 20% to 80% in about nine minutes, and from 10% to 80% in just over 10 minutes.
