Zeekr has taken a strategic move to bolster its sales figures for the latter half of the year. The company has initiated a compelling promotional campaign for its inaugural model, the Zeekr 001 shooting brake, aimed at achieving its annual sales targets.
In an official announcement made today, Zeekr disclosed a compelling incentive for prospective buyers of the Zeekr 001. Those who acquire this pioneering model within the current year will be eligible for a noteworthy discount, with potential savings reaching an impressive RMB 37,000 ($5,130).
The Zeekr 001, introduced to the market on April 17, 2021, with deliveries commencing in October of the same year, stands as a significant milestone for Zeekr. The model offers a diversified lineup comprising four distinct versions. Among these variants, two bear an initial price tag of RMB 300,000, while the remaining two start at RMB 349,000 and RMB 386,000 respectively.
From August 11 to December 31, customers seeking to become proud owners of the Zeekr 001 can capitalize on substantial discounts, according to a statement by Zeekr. This promotional window provides an opportunity for savings ranging between RMB 30,000 and RMB 37,000.
Breaking down the specifics, both iterations of the Zeekr 001 featuring an initial cost of RMB 300,000 are subject to a discount of RMB 31,000, equivalent to a discount of 10.33 percent. Consequently, the base price for these versions would be adjusted to RMB 269,000.
Likewise, the variant with an introductory cost of RMB 349,000 comes with a discount of RMB 30,000, translating to an 8.6 percent reduction, thus setting the new price at RMB 319,000.
Furthermore, the version carrying an initial price of RMB 386,000 presents a discount of RMB 37,000, constituting a discount of 9.59 percent. Consequently, the adjusted price for this variant is set at RMB 349,000.
In an additional gesture of customer appreciation, Zeekr has announced the inclusion of a complimentary 7-kW home charger for most Zeekr 001 models sold during this promotional period.
The upward trajectory of Zeekr’s performance is evident in its recent accomplishment, as it managed to deliver a remarkable total of 12,039 vehicles in the month of July. This achievement marks the second instance this year when the company has exceeded the 10,000-vehicle milestone. Consequently, the cumulative deliveries for the year have now reached an impressive tally of 54,672 units.
Of particular significance is Zeekr’s ambitious aim to double its delivery figures from the previous year, with a target of approximately 140,000 units. To realize this ambitious objective, the company would need to sustain a delivery pace of approximately 17,000 units per month over the remaining five months of the year.
Beyond the focal point of the Zeekr 001, Zeekr’s product portfolio also encompasses two other compelling models available for purchase: the Zeekr 009 MPV and the Zeekr X urban SUV.
