Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Zeekr has announced the delivery of its 15,000th vehicle to an overseas market, reaching this milestone with a delivery in Australia. This achievement comes as the company continues its international expansion, which began in 2023 with its entry into Sweden.

Currently, Zeekr operates in multiple markets, including Sweden, Denmark, France, Norway, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Australia, and Singapore, among others.

It has outlined plans to establish 100 sales stores and 70 service centers overseas by 2025, focusing on providing tailored services to local markets. Additionally, the company intends to open flagship stores in major cities like Sydney, Bangkok, and Dubai as part of its global strategy.

To support its international growth, Zeekr is developing vehicles designed for overseas markets, such as the Zeekr 007 GT, a wagon variant slated for launch in China and Europe in the second quarter of 2025. This model has been tested in Europe and reflects the company’s efforts to cater to regional preferences, particularly in markets where wagons maintain a niche appeal.

In 2024, Zeekr delivered 222,123 vehicles globally, marking an 87% increase compared to the previous year. As the domestic Chinese market for new energy vehicles matures, the company has identified overseas markets as a key driver for future growth, with plans to expand into regions such as Oceania, Latin America, and Africa. Zeekr aims to increase its annual sales to 320,000 units in 2025, leveraging its growing international presence to achieve this target.
