Zeekr, the premium vehicle brand under Geely, delivered 37,216 vehicles in September, an increase of 103.85% from the same month a year earlier and 0.64% from August.
September marked Zeekr’s sixth consecutive monthly delivery record, extending a period of sustained growth throughout 2026. The brand has recorded both year-on-year and month-on-month delivery growth for eight consecutive months.
With September deliveries included, Zeekr has delivered 288,404 vehicles so far this year, up 100.84% compared with the same period a year earlier. Since beginning deliveries in 2021, the brand’s cumulative deliveries have reached 931,293 vehicles.
Zeekr 9X Adds Momentum to September Deliveries
The Zeekr 9X hybrid SUV contributed 7,225 deliveries in September as production of its five-seat version continued to ramp up.
The five-seat Zeekr 9X was launched on July 28 with a limited-time starting price of 451,900 yuan ($67,100). The model expands Zeekr’s presence in the premium family SUV segment and is part of the brand’s broader push into higher-end vehicle categories.
The 9X has also entered the German market, where its pricing overlaps with the Porsche Cayenne. The European launch gives Zeekr an opportunity to compete in the premium SUV segment as the brand expands beyond China.
Zeekr 7X Remains a Key Sales Driver
The Zeekr 7X continues to provide significant volume for the brand. Zeekr said the electric SUV has recorded more than 10,000 deliveries in each of the past three months, while cumulative global sales have surpassed 200,000 vehicles.
First launched in September 2024, the 7X is also set to receive an updated version. Zeekr announced on September 3 that the 2027 Zeekr 7X will launch in the fourth quarter of this year.
The updated model will add an 85-kWh version using Zeekr’s Golden Battery technology. The battery capacity will sit between the existing 75-kWh and 103-kWh options.
Zeekr has not yet disclosed the 85-kWh version’s CLTC driving range, charging performance or specific high-voltage architecture.
Zeekr Prepares Further Model Updates
Beyond the 7X, Zeekr is continuing to update several of its established models. The company said earlier on Thursday that the 2027 Zeekr 001 shooting brake is scheduled to launch in the first quarter of 2027.
The model updates are part of Zeekr’s strategy to maintain momentum across its core lineup while expanding its presence in premium vehicle markets in China and overseas.
