Automotive manufacturer Zeekr has made significant strides in its international expansion efforts, as it officially enters the Kazakhstan market. The move comes shortly after the company’s recent foray into Israel. Responding to the increasing demand for electric vehicles (EVs) in Central Asia, Zeekr has joined forces with local car dealer Orbis Auto to introduce its EV lineup in Kazakhstan during the fourth quarter.
In an official press release issued today, Zeekr emphasized the strategic importance of Kazakhstan as a key market in Central Asia. The company aims to cater to the rising customer demand in the region, starting with the pre-sale of its Zeekr 001 shooting-brake and Zeekr X urban SUV models in September. These innovative EVs are expected to be delivered to customers in Kazakhstan by November.

A primary focus for Zeekr will be to provide an immersive experience to its local customers, spanning from initial contact to after-sales services. To achieve this goal, the company is dedicated to establishing a comprehensive full-stage service system in the country. The collaboration with Orbis Auto, renowned for its expertise in developing luxury automotive brands, will play a crucial role in Zeekr’s expansion strategy. Orbis Auto’s support will facilitate the establishment of a robust sales network for Zeekr in the local automotive market.

He emphasized Zeekr’s commitment to delivering outstanding products and exceptional customer service, closely working with Orbis Auto during this pivotal stage of global expansion in Central Asia.
According to Dinara Iskakova, CEO of Orbis Auto, the demand for EVs in Kazakhstan is on a rapid rise, and this partnership with Zeekr aims to capitalize on the growing trend while meeting the needs of the country’s motorists.
Zeekr’s venture into Kazakhstan marks another significant milestone in the company’s international journey. Founded in 2021, Zeekr introduced its first model, the Zeekr 001, in April of the same year. Deliveries of this model commenced in China in October 2021. The company’s second model, the Zeekr 009 MPV, became available for sale on November 1, 2022, with deliveries starting on January 15.
More recently, on April 12, Zeekr unveiled its third model, the Zeekr X, which started being delivered in China on June 12. With its expanding product range and a growing presence in global markets, Zeekr remains focused on driving the adoption of EVs and revolutionizing the automotive industry worldwide
