Yunex Traffic has taken a major step into the electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure market in the US by installing chargers in the bustling town center of Peachtree Corners, Georgia. The Siemens VersiCharge AC Level 2 chargers, which offer 11.5 kW of power on a 48A circuit, are compatible with the most commonly used EVs today and are currently available for use at no cost.

The chargers are located in a bustling social hub, surrounded by popular restaurants, a movie theater, and retail stores. Yunex’s Vice President of Sales, Jon Ringler, stated that the company’s experience in providing EV charging solutions for clients in Europe has equipped them with the necessary skills to succeed in this market.

Ringler explained, “While standards may vary, the underlying principles remain the same. We provide a comprehensive, ready-to-use solution that is ideal for any government agency or private sector business looking to provide EV charging facilities for drivers.”

In order to guarantee interoperability with third-party software companies, Yunex has carefully selected chargers that are compatible with the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP). By doing so, Yunex aims to provide seamless integration and ease of use for EV drivers.
