Wednesday, July 1

Xpeng delivered 40,126 vehicles in June, ending five consecutive months of year-on-year delivery declines as new model launches helped drive a sales recovery, according to figures released by the company on Wednesday.

The June total was the company’s highest monthly delivery figure so far in 2026, rising 15.93% from a year earlier and 24.78% from May.

Second-Quarter Deliveries Meet Guidance

Xpeng delivered 103,295 vehicles during the second quarter, within its previously announced guidance range of 100,000 to 106,000 units.

Second-quarter deliveries were broadly unchanged from 103,181 vehicles delivered in the same period last year, increasing just 0.11%.

Compared with the first quarter, however, deliveries climbed 64.8% from 62,682 units, reflecting a significant improvement in sales momentum.

During the first six months of the year, Xpeng delivered 165,977 vehicles. As of the end of June, cumulative deliveries since the company’s launch reached 1,185,801 vehicles.

GX SUV Drives Recovery

The rebound was supported by production ramp-up of the new GX flagship SUV.

The model delivered 6,739 units in June, its first full month on the market, while the 10,000th GX rolled off the production line during the month.

Xpeng said additional production capacity for key components will gradually increase output and shorten delivery times for customers currently facing waiting periods exceeding 35 weeks.

The GX was launched in China on May 20 with a limited-time starting price of 269,800 yuan (approximately US$39,800).

It is offered in both battery-electric and super extended-range versions as Xpeng expands into the premium SUV segment.

Overseas Expansion Continues

The company’s flagship X9 multi-purpose vehicle has now surpassed 60,000 cumulative global deliveries, which Xpeng said is the fastest delivery pace achieved by an emerging EV manufacturer’s MPV.

In June, the X9 entered seven European markets, including Germany, Finland and Norway, supporting the company’s international expansion strategy.

Mona SUV to Launch

Xpeng’s next product launch will be the Mona L03, the first SUV in the Mona lineup.

The model will make its China debut and begin pre-sales on July 2 ahead of a broader global rollout.

Positioned as an entry-level intelligent SUV aimed at younger buyers, the Mona L03 follows the successful Mona M03 sedan, which delivered 175,689 units in 2025 and accounted for more than 40% of Xpeng’s annual vehicle deliveries.

Sales of the M03 have moderated this year, with deliveries totaling 48,291 vehicles during the first five months, down 33.15% from a year earlier.

With production of new models continuing to increase, Xpeng is aiming to strengthen its sales performance during the second half of the year.
