Xpeng delivered 30,350 electric vehicles (EVs) in January, marking a 267.88% increase from the same period last year. However, the figure represented a 17.29% decline from December’s 36,695 units, reflecting the seasonal slowdown that typically affects China’s auto market at the start of the year.
January’s results marked the third consecutive month in which Xpeng’s deliveries exceeded 30,000 units, supported by strong demand for its latest models. The Mona M03 sedan was among the company’s top performers, with more than 15,000 units delivered last month.

The model, launched in August 2024, is Xpeng’s most affordable offering, with prices starting at RMB 119,800 ($16,520). It has maintained steady monthly deliveries exceeding 10,000 units since September, reaching 15,904 units in December.
Another key contributor to Xpeng’s sales was the P7+ sedan, introduced in November 2024. The mid-to-large-sized electric sedan, priced from RMB 186,800, saw cumulative deliveries reach 20,000 units within two months. Unlike previous Xpeng models, the P7+ does not include LiDAR technology, opting for a vision-only autonomous driving system similar to Tesla’s approach.
