XPG Motors in May delivered 10,125 vehicles to their customers. This number is up 12.5 percent from last month and 78 percent over the same month in 2021.

XPG Motors in May delivered 4,224 P7 sedans, 3,686 P5 sedans, and 2,215 G3 series compact SUVs. As of May 31, XPeng Motors’ total year-to-date shipments reached 53,688 units, up 122% year-on-year.

In mid-May, XPeng Motors resumed two-shift production at its Zhaoqing plant after supply chains and key manufacturing areas in China began to recover gradually after a brief lockdown due to Covid-19.

XPeng promises to upgrade their vehicles and introduces the ACC-L and LCC-L via an over-the-air (OTA) update.

The ACC-L and LCC-L offer both camera-based and LiDAR-based adaptive cruise control as well as lane center control, the company said.

During the Covid-19 lockdown, XPeng was the unaffected manufacturer as its much lower number of suppliers came from East China.

XPeng, itself is headquartered in Guangzhou, Guangdong province in the southernmost part of China.
