Swedish electric boat manufacturer X Shore has confirmed a major order of 32 electric vessels to be delivered to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, marking the company’s largest order to date. The boats, ordered by M Yachts, will be available for display in the company’s showrooms across these markets, with the first units expected to be delivered by the end of the year.

X Shore highlighted the significance of this partnership for enhancing customer access to its electric boats in the DACH region, allowing local customers to view, test, and receive after-sales support for the vessels. The company anticipates that the German boating market will reach an electrification rate of 12% by 2027, aligning well with its sustainable boating focus.

René Hansen, CEO of X Shore, emphasized the importance of the DACH region as a key market for the company. “This landmark deal with M Yachts not only highlights the growing demand for sustainable boating solutions but also strengthens X Shore’s strategic foothold in a region at the forefront of electric mobility,” Hansen said.

Although the specific models to be delivered have not been confirmed, X Shore’s lineup includes the flagship model Eelex 8000, the X Shore Pro for professional maritime use, and the more affordable X Shore 1, which starts at 99,000 euros. The company has also partnered with Bosch Engineering to enhance the performance of the X Shore 1.

This significant order follows X Shore’s recent 8.5 million euro funding round, aimed at further product development and expanding its sales and marketing activities. M Yachts’ Managing Partners, Jan Ole Hagen and Philipp von Arnim, expressed their excitement about the partnership, praising the craftsmanship and design of X Shore boats and predicting strong demand across the DACH region.
