The line of electric powered vehicles from Volvo is expanding with the arrival of the EX90. The Volvo EX90 has a myriad of promising potentials to enter the EV market.

The plan is for the EX90 to be marketed starting next year, starting in the United States which is also its production base, then China. The manufacturer builds it on the principle of form follows function, as a trendy family car with modern proportions. Do not miss the environmentally friendly materials contained in this car.

Based on the latest electrical technology, the Volvo EX90 is expected to be an adventurous friend with the family. It is claimed to be able to travel as far as 600 kilometers emission-free in one full charge. According to the WLTP test method, charging from 10 to 80 percent is complete in about 30 minutes.

Regarding driving performance. The all-wheel drive (AWD) model is powered by a 111 kWh battery. Two permanent magnet electric motors are installed. The combination of the two gives a resultant 380 kW (514 hp) and 910 Nm of instant torque. Combined with the new chassis, the Volvo EX90 is said to be able to create an enjoyable driving experience.

Apart from all that, the vehicle’s building materials are also environmentally friendly. The Volvo EX90 contains around 15 percent scrap steel, 25 percent recycled aluminum, 48 kilograms of recycled plastic and biodegradable materials equivalent to 15 percent of the total plastic used in cars. This content is the highest of any Volvo product to date.

So, the EX90 is the first car with all the hardware to offer two-way charging. So you can use a car battery as an extra energy supply. For example to power at home, electrical devices. Or it could also be used to charge other Volvo electric cars.

Switched into a Volvo EX90. Embedded 14.5-inch center screen as the most sophisticated entertainment system offered. Can connect with Google and 5G connectivity as standard. You can instantly stream your favorite music, install your favorite apps and much more. It’s easy thanks to the intuitive settings. It is also compatible with Apple CarPlay as well as Android Auto.

The audio is not messing around. Volvo is the first to manufacture a car with a Dolby Atmos system, which is delivered by high-quality devices made by Bowers & Wilkins. Just imagine, inside there are 25 speakers installed so that the sound is immersive throughout the cabin.

In addition, the vehicle is armed with cell phone lock technology. This means you can leave your keys at home. Then unlock the car easily using a touch from the cellphone. Users can ask Google to lock, warm or cool the Volvo EX90.
