Chinese electric vehicle maker Voyah, a luxury brand under Dongfeng, has released official images of its new flagship SUV, the Taishan 9L, ahead of its planned launch in China in the fourth quarter.

The vehicle is positioned as a premium three-row, six-seat plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV).

The Taishan 9L combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with dual electric motors, producing a total output of 490 kW.

The SUV is equipped with a 65 kWh CATL NMC battery, providing an electric-only range of 370 kilometers and a combined range of approximately 1,400 kilometers. The vehicle supports 800V fast charging, allowing a 20-80% recharge in just 12 minutes.

Voyah has integrated Huawei technologies into the Taishan 9L, including the Huawei ADS 4.0 advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) and HarmonyOS infotainment system.

Measuring 5,230 mm in length, 2,025 mm in width, and 1,817 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,120 mm and a curb weight of 2,760 kg, the SUV is designed to offer both spaciousness and performance for the premium segment.
