By employing a combination of connectivity, cameras, sensors, 3D modeling, and augmented reality overlays, the app offers first responders an intricate view of the vehicle, ensuring the implementation of safe rescue operations.
The Emergency Response Guide app is now accessible for download from the Android and Apple stores. It offers comprehensive safety information for all heavy-duty electric truck brands under the Volvo Group, including Volvo Trucks, Renault Trucks, and Mack Trucks. Notably, augmented reality features will be integrated into Mack electric trucks in June 2023.
