Volvo Cars has revealed the U.S. pricing for its new 2025 EX30 and EX90 electric SUVs, marking significant steps in its electrification strategy. The EX30, the company’s smallest and most affordable EV, will start at $44,900, while the EX90, its first three-row electric SUV, is priced from $79,995.
The EX30, already a bestseller in Europe with nearly 100,000 units sold in 2024, is set to arrive in the U.S. by late 2024. The Twin Motor Performance variant of the EX30 boasts 422 horsepower, accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds, and offers a range of up to 253 miles.

The Ultra trim, featuring additional tech like Park Pilot Assist and a 360-degree 3D camera, starts at $46,600. The compact SUV supports fast charging, reaching 80% in just over 25 minutes with its 153 kW capacity.
Meanwhile, the EX90 signals a new era for Volvo, according to CEO Jim Rowan. Built in South Carolina, the luxury SUV offers a 310-mile range powered by a 111 kWh battery pack.

With seven-seat options, 67.6 cubic feet of cargo space, and dimensions of 198.3 inches in length and 77.3 inches in width, the EX90 competes with models like the Rivian R1S and BMW iX. The EX90 charges from 10% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes.
Volvo also announced updates to its lineup, including renaming the XC40 Recharge as the EX40, which now features an 82 kWh battery and starts at $52,500. This aligns the model with the brand’s growing range of electric SUVs.
