Voltari Electric, a marine electrification specialist, has introduced the Voltari Patrol 26 RIB, a high-performance, carbon-fiber electric boat built for demanding security and government operations. Designed with advanced marine technologies, the Patrol 26 RIB builds on Voltari’s legacy of delivering innovative electric boats with a focus on durability and speed.
Voltari was established in Canada in 2021 after acquiring LTS Marine, a provider of electric boat systems, and Carbon Marine, a carbon fiber laminate specialist. These technologies were integrated to launch the Voltari 260, an all-electric performance boat that set a high standard in sustainable marine mobility. Demonstrating its capabilities, Voltari CEO Cam Heaps piloted a Voltari 260 from Key Largo, Florida, to Bimini, Bahamas, on a single charge. The brand has since expanded its lineup with the TT26 superyacht RIB tender and now, the Patrol 26 RIB.
The Patrol 26 RIB is engineered for security applications, featuring a robust, 24-degree deadrise deep-vee hull constructed entirely from carbon fiber. It includes Shockwave suspension seating, allowing it to handle rough waters while protecting passengers. Powered by a Konrad trimmable outdrive with dual, contra-rotating propellers, the boat delivers 740 horsepower and 1,007 lb-ft of torque. This setup gives the patrol vessel an impressive top speed of over 50 mph and smooth handling in various marine conditions.
The boat’s dual-prop system offers 550 kW peak power and 425 kW continuous power, with an operating range of up to 100 miles at idle speed or 30 miles at 25 mph. Voltari also provides an optional Pilot House configuration, which includes climate control for additional comfort. The Patrol 26 RIB is priced from $557,000, with units already deployed for use by the U.S. Department of Defense, Navy, and Coast Guard, underscoring its capabilities as a powerful addition to security fleets.
