Volta Trucks confirms participation at IAA Hannover with Volta Zero electric truck

Volta Trucks has announced that the electric truck manufacturer has confirmed its participation in one of the largest commercial vehicle exhibitions in Europe, IAA Hannover which will take place from 19-25 September 2022 at Deutsche Messe AG, Hannover, Germany.

The exhibition is the first time Volta Trucks has showcased and introduced its innovative product, the Volta Zero electric truck, to customers in the European automotive market, including in Germany.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Volta Trucks, Essa Al-Saleh said that this event was an important moment for Volta Trucks to quickly start evaluating, testing and producing innovative vehicles.

“I can’t wait to meet our customers and future prospects at the exhibition, and allow them to experience our prototype vehicles firsthand at the driving experience center at the event,” he said in an official statement, Wednesday (6/7/2022).

Volta Trucks will present the Volta Zero electric prototype vehicle running in its own sustainable city environment at booth #B18. A prototype Volta Zero will also be available at the test drive arena for customer evaluation.

Essa Al-Saleh added that Germany is a very important market for Volta Trucks to enter the automotive industry, especially in the wider commercial vehicle segment.

“We see significant commercial appeal in Germany for the Volta Zero electric truck thanks to the progressive mindset of German fleet owners and generous subsidies and incentives from the government to motivate the transition to zero-emission trucks.”

A little information, the Volta Zero is a 16-ton fully electric truck equipped with an electric battery with a capacity of 225 kWh which can cover a distance of up to 200 km (124 miles) on a single charge and can go up to a maximum speed of 90 kph.
