Volkswagen is offering UK buyers a £1,000 discount on new all-electric models from its ID. range until March 3, the automaker announced on Thursday. The incentive applies to the ID.3, ID.4, ID.5, ID.7, ID.7 Tourer, and ID. Buzz, with additional financing benefits available through Volkswagen Financial Services.
The discount is valid for both cash buyers and those financing their purchase. Customers opting for a personal contract plan (PCP) through Volkswagen Financial Services will receive further deposit contributions, including £1,700 for the ID.7 and ID.7 Tourer, and up to £8,900 for the ID.5, in addition to the £1,000 reduction.

We hope this offer helps to dispel any concerns they might have about affordability and persuades them that an award-winning electric Volkswagen is the best possible choice.”
Volkswagen introduced updates to the ID.3, ID.4, and ID.5 in the UK in late 2024, including new trim levels and price adjustments aimed at boosting sales and meeting zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) targets. The ID.7 lineup also received revisions earlier last year.

The £1,000 discount can be combined with other ongoing incentives. Buyers can choose between a free Ohme home charger or £500 in We Charge credit for public charging. Volkswagen’s energy partner, OVO, is also offering EV customers access to its ‘Charge Anytime’ plan at 7p/kWh and up to 10,000 free miles of credit for orders placed by March 31, along with 1,000 free miles annually for three years.
