Vietnamese automaker VinFast has recently introduced its latest addition to the electric vehicle market, the 2023 VinFast VF 3. Designed specifically for the domestic market, this battery-electric mini car offers a compact and efficient solution for urban commuting.
Measuring a mere 3,114 millimeters in length, the VF 3 is approximately 365 millimeters shorter than the compact Suzuki Jimny. Despite its diminutive size, VinFast assures potential buyers that the VF 3 provides ample interior space to comfortably accommodate up to five passengers. The car’s compact yet tall body design ensures sufficient ground clearance and features 16-inch wheels for enhanced stability.
The VF 3 boasts distinct design elements, including square-shaped headlights and rearview mirrors, as well as a stylized V-shaped bird logo adorning the front and rear bumpers. These features contribute to a cohesive design language, resulting in a visually dynamic appeal. VinFast also understands the importance of personalization and will offer a wide range of color options for customers, further allowing them to customize their VF 3.
Inside the vehicle, VinFast has adopted a minimalist approach to optimize space and provide a comfortable seating arrangement for all occupants. The interior features integrated basic smart features, ensuring a convenient and user-friendly experience.
While specific details are yet to be disclosed, VinFast promises an “impressive travel distance” and “high safety standards” for the VF 3. This showcases the company’s commitment to delivering a reliable and secure driving experience to its customers.
VinFast plans to commence accepting orders for the VF 3 in September 2023, with deliveries expected to begin in the third quarter of 2024.
With the introduction of the VF 3, VinFast expands its product lineup to include a total of seven models, catering to various segments from mini cars to full-size E-class SUVs. The company has already launched six electric car models, ranging from the VF 5 Plus and VF e34 to the VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9.
