The new Tata Nexon EV MAX is one of the electric cars launched by Tata Motors in India (11/5). The Tata Nexon EV MAX is actually an ‘upgraded’ version of the Nexon EV with a more powerful electric motor and a larger battery.

The Nexon EV MAX gets an electric motor that produces 143 hp and 250 Nm of torque, 14 hp and 5 Nm more powerful than the Nexon EV.

Then about the battery, the Nexon EV MAX is equipped with a Lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 40.5 kWh which is claimed to provide an estimated mileage of 437 kilometers.

Well, if we take a peek at the interior of the Nexon EV MAX, it turns out that Tata Motors also provides several ‘upgrades’ features from the regular Nexon.

Tata Nexon EV MAX Interior

First in terms of comfort, the Nexon EV MAX gets AC ventilated seats, auto dimming center mirrors, wireless chargers, and air purifiers.

Don’t forget Tata gives the Nexon EV MAX the Cruise Control feature which is operated on the right side of the steering wheel.

On the center console, the Nexon EV MAX gets a transmission knob called the Jeweled Control Knob which has a screen in the middle.

Right nearby is the electric parking brake and Brake Auto Hold feature which is exclusive to the Nexon EV MAX only.

Other interesting features that can be found in the interior of the Nexon EV MAX are a refrigerated glove box and an Indirect Tire Pressure Monitoring System (iTPMS).

Like the regular Nexon EV, Tata embeds the Nexon EV MAX audio system with a 7-inch head unit screen and 8 speakers from Harman.

The Nexon EV MAX head unit screen is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, and the What3Words navigation feature is embedded.

ZConnect Tata Nexon EV MAX

Then there are the telematics and interconnectivity features of ZConnect that connect Nexon EV MAX owners and their cars via a mobile application.

Different from the regular Nexon EV, ZConnect on the Nexon EV MAX has 48 features including Set Charge Limit, remote door lock/unlock, remote cooling, geo-fencing, time fencing, find my car, and many more.

Sophisticated again, ZConnect Nexon EV MAX can already be integrated with the owner’s smart watch.
