Swiss e-bike specialist Thömus has recently introduced its latest innovation in the world of electric bicycles – the Twinner T1 Pro. Combining stunning aesthetics with exceptional functionality, this speed pedelec aims to redefine standards in lightweight e-bike design.

Crafted predominantly from carbon fiber, Thömus has pushed the boundaries of innovation, creating a bike that not only catches the eye but also delivers impressive performance. Unlike any electric bike seen before, the Twinner T1 Pro showcases a unique blend of a step-through frame for accessibility and the sporty nature of carbon fiber. The wheels, reminiscent of those found on supercars, add an extra touch of sophistication.

In terms of performance, the Twinner T1 Pro continues to excel. It features 65-millimeter wide tires and falls under the S-pedelec category, offering assistance up to an impressive speed of 28 miles per hour. The development process focused on striking the perfect balance between stiffness and comfort, ensuring outstanding performance even at high speeds. Thömus claims that the transverse flux motor, integrated into the rear hub, enables riders to accelerate to 28 miles per hour in less than 3.6 seconds. With a maximum torque of 70 Newton-meters, this powerful motor delivers a thrilling riding experience.

Complementing its remarkable performance, the Twinner T1 Pro boasts a range of convenient features. Equipped with four-piston hydraulic disc brakes, the bike ensures reliable and efficient stopping power. For enhanced stability and safety, riders can opt for the optional ABS system. Additionally, carbon fiber fenders are available as an option, offering a touch of sportiness while reducing weight. The bike’s design is further enhanced by its distinctive “signature light,” which adds an air of exclusivity to the brand. To cater to colder rides, the Twinner T1 Pro also features luxurious heated grips, keeping hands warm and comfortable.

The Twinner Smart Hub, a 3.5-inch display mounted in the bike’s stem, provides riders with essential information, including current speed, distance traveled, and remaining battery capacity. For added security, an optional rear camera is available. Battery technology is not overlooked, with two options to choose from. The standard model boasts an impressive 1,000 watt-hours of capacity, while an upgrade option allows riders to increase the battery capacity to a staggering 1,638 watt-hours, ensuring extended range for those seeking extra mileage.

However, this integration of cutting-edge technology and luxurious amenities comes at a considerable cost. The Twinner T1 Pro is widely recognized as one of the most expensive commuter pedelecs on the market, retailing at 10,010 Euros (approximately $11,000 USD). Nevertheless, for those individuals seeking to make a bold statement and stand out from the crowd, the Twinner T1 Pro offers a unique opportunity to do so.

With its head-turning design, high-performance capabilities, and exclusive features, Thömus’ Twinner T1 Pro is set to capture the attention of e-bike enthusiasts who value both style and substance.
