Peugeot Motorcycles has showcased its e-Streetzone electric scooter with dual batteries and a range of up to 112 km. e-Streetzone is an electric version of the Streetzone 500 cc petrol motorbike. An e-Streetzone cargo version is also available, as well as one- and two-battery models.
The e-Streetzone single battery model has a range of 61 km when operated in Eco mode. This battery life becomes 51 km in Boost mode. Reporting from Gizmochina (16/11), each of these modes has a maximum speed of 25 km/hour and 45 km/hour.
With the dual battery in the electric scooter, the range is 112 km in ECO mode and 96 km in Boost mode. One battery weighs about 12 kg so the scooter weighs 102 kg with two batteries and 90 kg with one battery.
Uniquely, the battery can be easily removed from the seat compartment and recharged using a power source for up to 5 hours. There is also fast charging support for this two-wheeled electric vehicle.
The Peugeot e-Streetzone produces a maximum torque of 105 Nm and is perfect for city trips. This electric scooter has hydraulic suspension on both wheels with a tire size of 110/70-12. It has a solid brake system consisting of disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear.
Do not miss the LCD screen that provides information display battery status and other indicators. There is a USB charging port to help riders charge devices on the go. There is also a bag hook under the handlebars.
The cargo version of the Peugeot e-Streetzone can be used for logistics or food delivery. It has a single seat and a rear cargo rack which weighs 20 kg. According to the French company, the cargo version has been designed to withstand regular and continuous use. Unfortunately, there is no pricing information for the Peugeot e-Streetzone electric scooter yet.
