The all-electric Genesis G80 will now be sold in total of 12 US states

Genesis announced that it will expand sales of the G80 Electrified electric car in four US states, namely Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Virginia.

“We are pleased to offer our growing range of electric cars to a wider range of American consumers,” said Genesis Motor North America chief operating officer, Claudia Marquez, quoted by Carscoops on Wednesday, November 15, 2022.

With the expansion of sales of the G80 Electrified in four states, it means that there are a total of 12 states that can buy this sub-brand luxury electric sedan from Hyundai Motors.

“Customers have been waiting patiently for the new G80 Electrified executive sedan. We are pleased to be expanding the availability of this model today in another four states,” said Claudia.

This electric sedan comes with an 87.2 kWh battery that offers a range of up to 454 km on a single charge. Capable of 350 kW fast charging, it can also be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 22 minutes.

The Electrified G80 has a battery powered by a pair of motors placed on each axle to give the car all-wheel drive. This pair of motors offers a total power of 365 hp and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm equivalent) of torque.

This luxury sedan is equipped with a 12.3-inch 3D digital instrument cluster, a 14.5-inch infotainment system and a head-up display. Both Android Auto and Apple Carplay are compatible with the system on the G80.

With this announcement the car will be available in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Utah, Virginia and Washington.
