The updated Tesla Model 3, internally known as Highland, is now open for orders in North America, five months after its debut in Europe and other global markets.
Similar to its European counterpart, the American Model 3 is offered with two powertrain options. The base Rear-Wheel Drive, starting at $38,990, boasts an EPA-estimated range of 272 miles. Meanwhile, the Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive Long Range, priced at $45,990, extends the range to 341 miles.

While the online configurator currently lacks a Performance trim, potential future additions such as a Sport or Ludicrous version have been hinted at in the official Tesla parts catalog and the car’s software code.
Compared to the pre-facelift version, the updated Model 3 maintains the same driving range on a full charge, with the Long Range variant offering an additional 8 miles. Prices remain consistent with the outgoing model.
Leasing options start at the same $329/month, and while the availability of the $7,500 tax credit is unconfirmed for the facelifted Model 3, the company’s website does not mention it. Previously, only the Model 3 Performance qualified for the tax credit.

Tesla is currently accepting orders for the refreshed Model 3 on its website, with deliveries anticipated to commence in January-February.
U.S. buyers can expect few surprises, as the car was unveiled in August of the preceding year. The updated model features a redesigned front, integrating fog lights and indicators into the main headlight units, along with new single-piece rear lights. Interior enhancements include LED ambient light strips, an added 8-inch rear display for climate and infotainment controls, and the replacement of column-mounted stalks with steering wheel buttons.

Additional comfort improvements include the use of acoustic glass for the entire glasshouse and increased sound-deadening material. The ride quality is enhanced with a revised front suspension geometry, and standard ventilated front seats are now offered.
The facelifted Tesla Model 3 is also available in Canada and Mexico, featuring the same specifications and estimated delivery timeframe.
