Tesla has reintroduced the Cyberhammer, a sledgehammer inspired by its Cybertruck, offering fans a chance to purchase the limited-edition item at a premium price.
The Cyberhammer, described by Tesla as “ready or not, it’s hammer time,” is now available for a wider audience. The sledgehammer commemorates the Cybertruck unveiling, where Tesla’s design chief, Franz von Holzhausen, famously used a sledgehammer to showcase the toughness of the vehicle’s stainless-steel exoskeleton. The Cyberhammer, designed by Tesla’s Design Studio and made of steel, features a laser etching of Franz’s signature on the head, making it a true collectible.

Initially, the Cyberhammer was not available for purchase. It was introduced in March as a referral award, with customers needing to spend 35,000 referral credits to acquire the item. Tesla promoted the Cyberhammer as something that had to be “earned” and “not given.”
Now, the Cyberhammer is listed in the Tesla Shop at a price of $700. However, Tesla has indicated that only 800 pieces of the limited-edition item will be produced. Once all 800 are sold, the Cyberhammer is expected to become a rare collector’s item, potentially commanding a premium on resale markets like eBay, similar to the Boring Company Not-a-Flamethrower.
While the Cyberhammer is designed to be durable, Tesla advises against striking hard surfaces with it. Instead, the sledgehammer is recommended for display or gym use.
