Tesla has increased the price of its Cybertruck all-wheel-drive (AWD) variant in the United States to $69,990, roughly ten days after introducing the configuration at an introductory price of $59,990.

The higher price took effect on March 1 following what Tesla described as a limited launch offer that began on February 19. During the initial period, the company displayed the lower price in its configurator while noting the promotional offer would only be available for ten days.

Elon Musk had indicated on social media at the time that the introductory price would be temporary. After the promotional window ended, Tesla updated the base price and removed the leasing option previously shown for the model.

The increase comes as delivery timelines shifted after the launch. Early estimates initially pointed to deliveries beginning in June 2026, but some configurations later showed delivery windows extending to September–October 2026 and, in certain cases, into 2027.

The newly introduced AWD configuration currently represents the lowest-priced version of the Cybertruck available. It features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain with an estimated driving range of 325 miles (about 523 kilometres).

The vehicle also includes adaptive damping suspension, a powered tonneau cover and cargo bed power outlets supporting vehicle-to-everything (V2X) functionality through Tesla’s Powershare system.

The updated price places the AWD model at the same level previously charged for the rear-wheel-drive Cybertruck, which had been listed at $69,990 before it was discontinued after several months on sale.

Compared with that earlier rear-wheel-drive variant, the current AWD configuration adds a second motor, all-wheel drive capability and additional features such as adaptive suspension and integrated power supply in the cargo bed.

The new pricing also contrasts with earlier projections announced when Tesla first unveiled the Cybertruck in 2019. At that time, the company outlined a dual-motor all-wheel-drive model starting at $49,900 with an estimated range of more than 300 miles.
