Usually modifications to a car will focus on the engine sector as well as the exterior and interior appearance. But it’s different with this one modifier, they remodel a Tesla Model 3 into a tank!

You haven’t heard wrong, the Tesla Model 3, which is famous as one of the best-selling electric cars in the world, has now been modified into a tank. Then, what does it look like and how is the modification process?

The modification of the electric sedan into a tank was carried out by a YouTuber named The Real Life Guys. In an 8-minute video, they show the process of converting a Tesla Model 3 into a tank.

Actually, these modifications are not 100 percent changing the shape of the Tesla Model 3 to be like a tank. However, the body of the electric sedan is combined with a previously made chain wheel. So, this Model 3 looks taller and dashing.

In the process of creating the Tesla Model 3 tank, it took a long process, almost four weeks. They previously had to make a rectangular frame made of sturdy steel pipes.

Then, all the wheels and suspension composition as a support on the Model 3 was removed. Only after that the rectangular frame that has carried the chain wheel is then attached to the sides of the Tesla Model 3 body.

In total there are 27 wheels, 24 shockbreaker units, and a sturdy car support chassis on the Tesla Model 3 tank. As a result, the weight of this electric car is also getting heavier, reaching 6 tons!

Not only does the weight of the vehicle increase, the ground clearance of the Tesla Model 3 also becomes high up to 80 cm. Naturally, because the use of chain wheels and a sturdy steel frame make this electric sedan tall and quite difficult to climb.

In addition, the YouTuber also installed a number of components for off-road needs on the Tesla Model 3 such as a heavy-duty winch on the front bumper, roof rack, and 4 spotlights mounted on the hood of the car.
