The German Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA) has announced that Tesla’s and vehicles are now eligible for the maximum of €6,750 across all trim levels.

This marks a change from the previous subsidy, which Tesla vehicles were disqualified from receiving due to price increases.

Tesla has stated that the recent price adjustments, coupled with the maximum subsidy, make the vehicles more accessible for consumers and align with the company’s mission to promote sustainable mobility. This comes after recent price cuts in the United States led to an increase in demand for the Model Y and a decrease in delivery times for the Model 3 and Model Y.

With the added government incentives, demand for these vehicles is expected to continue growing. The Model 3 will be available starting at €40,470 and the Model Y at €41,370.
