The Tesla Cybertruck is scheduled to return to Japan, this time making an appearance in Fukuoka Prefecture from Friday, September 27, to Friday, October 4, 2024. Given the brief duration of the visit, those interested in seeing the Cybertruck in person are advised to plan accordingly.

Earlier in February 2024, the Cybertruck made headlines during its visit to Tokyo following a tour in China. At that time, industry speculation suggested that Tesla’s Japan visit was part of a strategy to boost sales in a market where CEO Elon Musk has previously acknowledged that Tesla’s market share is “remarkably low.” Musk expressed the desire for Tesla’s market share to be comparable to that of established non-Japanese automakers such as Mercedes-Benz and BMW.

Fukuoka Prefecture, the capital of Kyushu Island, is renowned for its various types of porcelain, including Arita, Imari, Satsuma, and Karatsu. The region, along with Kitakyushu, Nagasaki, and Oita, has a strong industrial focus on automobiles, semiconductors, and metal processing.

During its previous visit to Tokyo, the Cybertruck garnered significant attention due to its distinctive design. In Fukuoka, local residents may also find the vehicle intriguing, given the region’s rich craftsmanship and industrial landscape.
