Tesla Cybertruck Delivery Event Set for November 30th at 2 p.m. Central Time

Electric car manufacturer Tesla is gearing up to commence deliveries of its highly-anticipated Cybertruck on November 30th, with a scheduled delivery event at its Gigafactory in Texas. Tesla, via X (formerly Twitter), confirmed that the event will kick off at 2 p.m. Central Time, with 10 Cybertrucks set to be delivered during the event.

While the event is labeled as a delivery event, reports suggest that none of the Cybertrucks will be handed over to regular, paying customers, raising questions about the true nature of the gathering. The limited number of vehicles to be delivered at the event likely explains Tesla’s restrained release of technical specifications for the Cybertruck, leaving pre-order customers in anticipation.

Originally presented in late 2019, Tesla initially outlined a range starting at $39,900, with mid-range and tri-motor variants at $49,900 and $69,900, respectively.

However, recent documents from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) indicate that the base model with a single electric motor will no longer be offered, limiting the available options to a two-motor version and a three-motor version. This shift may impact the Cybertruck’s appeal and prompt reservation holders to reconsider their pre-orders.
