The application submitted is related to the planned development of the east side of the 100-hectare Giga Berlin.
“The municipality of Grünheide has punctually received an application to initiate a B-Plan procedure in the immediate vicinity of the current 300-hectare B Plan,” said the mayor of Grünheide, Arne Christiani, i, as reported by RBB

Giga Berlin has opened a second shift to increase production capacity. The second shift gives a total of 16 hours of production at the Giga Berlin. The first shift starts from 7:00 to 15:00, and the second shift takes over at 15:00 and works until 11:00.
