The unnamed customer, which had placed an initial order in May 2024, has now secured its BTMS supply for 2025 in advance. Technotrans did not disclose the manufacturer’s name, in line with industry practices, though it confirmed continued deliveries to three production sites in France and the Czech Republic. Potential customers include Daimler Buses and Iveco Bus, both of which have plants in these countries.

“The renewed major order strengthens our market position and demonstrates the trust placed in our technology and performance capabilities,” said Michael Finger, CEO of Technotrans SE. “By committing to us at an early stage, the customer underlines the strategic relevance of our solutions and our leading technological expertise.”

Technotrans’ BTMS plays a critical role in regulating battery temperatures in electric buses, ensuring optimal performance and longevity. Excessively high or low temperatures can reduce battery life and charging efficiency, potentially affecting vehicle operations. The company previously received a follow-up order in September 2024, valued in the single-digit million-euro range.
