Subaru Solterra electric SUV gets five stars in Euro-NCAP crash test

Subaru Solterra received a five-star safety rating from the Euro New Car Assessment Program (Euro-NCAP) after undergoing a series of safety tests and crash tests.

In the Adult Occupant Protection, Child Occupant Protection, Vulnerable Road Users Protection and Safety Assist categories, the Solterra, which is an electric car, scored above the minimum threshold required.

The maximum score is given for the ability of this SUV to protect child occupants aged 6 and 10 years in frontal and lateral impacts.

The success of the Subaru Solterra in achieving this satisfactory value is none other than the new electric platform jointly developed by Subaru and Toyota.

Also adding to the five-star claim is the high score achieved in the Safety Assist category, thanks to the Car-to-Car Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) system. This electric SUV also scores high in AEB detection for cyclists and pedestrians.
