StoreDot Partners with EVE Energy to Mass Produce Extreme Fast Charging Battery Cells

Storedot has taken a major step towards commercialization and mass production through a strategic partnership with EVE Energy. The collaboration grants StoreDot access to EVE’s manufacturing capabilities, enabling the mass production of its groundbreaking 100in5 extreme fast charging battery cells.

Under the agreement, StoreDot will secure manufacturing capacity from EVE to produce its XFC batteries. Additionally, the company will license its technology to EVE and continue to explore licensing agreements with other third parties.

StoreDot’s battery technology, outlined in its ‘100inX’ product roadmap, promises ‘Range on Demand,’ with milestones including 100 miles charged in 5 minutes (2024), 100 miles charged in 4 minutes (2026), and 100 miles charged in 3 minutes (2028).

Amir Tirosh, COO of StoreDot, emphasized the significance of the partnership, stating, “This newly minted agreement with EVE Energy is a pivotal inflexion point for StoreDot. We now have the agreement for captive capacity, and it gives us the ability to implement our ambition for mass production of our extreme fast charging cell technologies. This will allow us to serve our customers who do not have their own manufacturing capability.”

Tirosh further highlighted the strengthening of StoreDot’s alliance with EVE Energy, noting, “I’m also pleased as this agreement fully cements our strong alliance with EVE Energy. We are already utilizing its world-beating manufacturing expertise in our R&D efforts. But this takes our collaboration to a new era, an era of StoreDot’s commercialization.”
