Sony Honda Mobility (SHM), a joint venture between Sony and Honda, has officially confirmed that it will reveal details about its new electric vehicle (EV) at the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas on January 4.

Quoted from the statement from the official website and Arena EV, Monday, Sony as the organizer also revealed that SHM would be present on stage.

SHM hasn’t revealed much about its upcoming vehicle, but the little it has to say really gets fans excited.

The company will begin production of its first electric vehicle in 2026, with a focus on North American production and online sales in that market. Japan will be the second market, followed by a European launch.

SHM has indicated that the unnamed car may be capable of level 3 autonomous driving under certain conditions and level 2+ in a wider range of settings.
