Mercedes-Benz and Geely will launch another electric-powered crossover called Smart #3. This can be seen from the images obtained from the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China.

Just like Smart #1, Smart #3 is a collaborative project between Mercedes-Benz and Geely using the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA).

Compared to Smart #1 with dimensions of 4,270 mm, Smart #3 looks bigger, with a length of 4,440 mm and a wheelbase that is 35 mm longer. The shape is also sportier, where the roofline is more towards a coupe SUV.

However, the two models share similarities in terms of design, where there is a thin LED strip that connects the front and rear lights, as well as a C-pillar design that gives the illusion of a floating roof.

The car will be powered by electric motors supplied by Weirui Electric Auto Technology and will be available in single and dual-motor versions.

The single-motor version will have a peak motor power of 200 kW, while the dual-motor version will have a front and rear motor power of 115 kW and 200 kW, respectively.

The vehicle has a top speed of 180 km/h and is powered by a ternary lithium battery from suppliers including CALB and Sunwoda.
