Tritium, an electric vehicle charger company, has reached an agreement with Shell to provide technology and fast charging services.
Electric charger services will be available at Shell gas stations with a target of operating 500,000 EV charging points by 2025 and 2.5 million by 2030.
Shell alone has the world’s largest network of fuel stations – more than 46,000 retail sites, and the company also intends to be a provider of charging for electric vehicles.

This agreement applies to all Shell business operations in Europe, South Africa, Asia, the Middle East and North America.
“We have been selling our EV charging infrastructure to Shell since 2020 and we are delighted to have been selected as Shell’s partner in this latest tender,” said Hunter, Tritium CEO
Tritium also previously secured orders for 400 fast chargers from EVCS, one of the largest fast charging networks on the West Coast of the United States, in addition to the 100 chargers already on order.
