Serbia’s state-owned postal operator Pošta Srbije has added 100 electric delivery vehicles to its fleet as part of its ongoing fleet electrification program, the company said.
The vehicles were supplied by U.S. manufacturer Cenntro and include models from both the Cenntro and Avantier brands. They will be deployed in Belgrade and other cities across the country.
Pošta Srbije said the new vehicles include the Cenntro Logistar 210V electric van and the Avantier Commuter X compact electric vehicle.
According to Cenntro, the Logistar 210V has a payload capacity of 1,020 kilograms, cargo volume of 6.7 cubic meters and a driving range of up to 218 kilometers from its 41.85-kWh lithium iron phosphate battery.
The Commuter X, a compact electric passenger vehicle, offers a range of up to 285 kilometers and will be used primarily for courier operations, the postal operator said.
“By introducing electric vehicles into delivery, Pošta Srbije is taking an important step towards modernising its operations and further improving its logistics network,” acting director Zoran Anđelković said in a statement.
“Electric delivery vehicles enable more efficient organisation of work in urban areas, reduce operating costs and contribute to sustainable development,” he added.
Pošta Srbije began deploying electric vehicles in 2023, when it added 31 Logistar 200 electric vans to its fleet, followed by 95 Logistar 260 vans in 2024 and 216 electric scooters in 2025.
The postal operator said it plans to procure a further 438 electric vehicles, with a tender expected to be launched soon.
