Ryvid, a California-based manufacturer, launched an electric motorcycle with a minimalist frame design inspired by space vehicles. Ryvid electric motorcycles pack a lot of power with very low power consumption per mile.
Ryvid goes beyond the main benefits of electric vehicles such as cost savings and environmental friendliness. They have applied the same planning and design principles that took up the spacecraft theme.
Ryvid’s electric motorcycle, called the Anthem, is lightweight and can reach a top speed of 75 miles/hour (120 km/h) with a maximum range of 75 miles (120 km) on a single charge. Easily adjustable seat position ergo makes for a comfortable ride, even during long stops at traffic lights.
“The Anthem is designed to be the most efficient, fun and pollution-free bike for commuting short to medium distances every day,” said Ryvid CEO Dong Tran.

Space-inspired engineering is about more than aesthetics. The bonded and riveted frame looks compact, making it light in weight. Weighing in at around 240 lbs (108.8 kg) or 175 lbs (79 kg) without the battery, the Anthem is sturdy and agile.
Its removable battery can be turned on and recharged at home. The sophisticated frame and balanced weight distribution make for an agile and highly responsive motorcycle. The reverse control function helps get out of tight spaces.
In other words, riding this motorcycle is not complicated. Anthem moves as needed and you have lots of options for parking and storage. Ryvid sells the Anthem for around USD 7,800.
