The 2025 Ram ProMaster EV is set to become a more accessible option for businesses and private customers with a significant price reduction. While the 2024 model started at $77,995, the 2025 version of the electric van will be priced at $58,490, a 27% decrease year over year.
This price cut comes with the addition of new body styles, including a regular-length cargo van and an extended-length version, both featuring the ProMaster’s “High Roof” option, making it a more versatile and affordable choice in the electric vehicle (EV) market.

For the 2025 model year, Ram has expanded the ProMaster EV lineup to offer multiple body styles, including a cargo van option alongside the previous step van. Both the regular and extended-length cargo vans come with Tradesman, SLT, and SLT+ trim levels, offering ample standard features like adaptive cruise control, forward collision monitoring, a 10.1-inch touchscreen display, and push-button start.
Like the 2024 step van, the 2025 models are powered by a 110-kilowatt-hour battery, driving a front-mounted electric motor that produces 268 horsepower and 302 lb-ft of torque. This gives the ProMaster EV a best-in-class power output, outpacing competitors like the Ford E-Transit and Mercedes-Benz eSprinter.

The ProMaster EV also boasts a competitive driving range, offering a combined range of 162 miles, with city driving pushing that to 180 miles. The Ford E-Transit offers 159 miles, while the Mercedes-Benz eSprinter achieves a range of up to 208 miles. However, the ProMaster EV’s price reduction makes it an attractive alternative, with its starting price coming in lower than both the E-Transit and the eSprinter.
The step van variant, which previously cost $79,990, now starts at $71,990 with destination charges included, making it $8,000 cheaper. This step van, unique in the OEM-built van space, is also equipped with adaptive cruise control and a heated driver’s seat as standard.

Despite the price drop, Ram has maintained essential features and capabilities. The ProMaster EV is compatible with 150-kilowatt DC fast charging, enabling a 10- to 80-percent charge in about 50 minutes. The van also comes with an 11-kW AC onboard charger for overnight recharging, making it a viable option for urban and commercial fleets.
