As deliveries of the highly anticipated Fisker Ocean One electric SUV are commencing in the United States, digital auction platform Cars & Bids has made history by becoming the first to offer this exclusive vehicle at auction. With the Ocean One being part of a limited run of just 5,000 units worldwide and already sold out, this presents a unique opportunity for those who missed out on securing a build slot with a $5,000 deposit.

While the official starting Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the Fisker Ocean One stands at $68,999 as listed on the EV startup’s website, the current high bid on Cars & Bids sits at an impressive $65,000, with the auction set to close in just two days. Given that this is currently the only Fisker Ocean One available for auction, the bidding activity is expected to intensify as the deadline approaches.

The allure of the Fisker Ocean One lies not only in its exclusivity but also in its striking design, a hallmark of Henrik Fisker, the renowned automotive designer responsible for iconic creations such as the BMW Z8 and the Aston Martin Vantage. Doug DeMuro, the founder of Cars & Bids, expressed his admiration for the vehicle, stating, “This is a nice looking car, on the outside it looks good, it’s eye-catching while not being ugly which is a hard thing to pull off. The interior is also nice, it’s a lot nicer than a Tesla which is not a high bar but it’s a very nice interior.”

Manufactured in Graz, Austria, by contract manufacturer Magna Steyr, a subsidiary of Magna International, the Fisker Ocean One is an all-electric crossover equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, delivering a robust 564 horsepower and 543 pound-feet of torque when its boost function is engaged. Powering the vehicle is a 113-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion Hyper Range battery pack, offering an EPA-estimated range of an impressive 360 miles.

The Fisker Ocean One boasts an extensive list of standard features, including a Revolve 17.1-inch touchscreen, distinctive 22-inch F5b AirGlider wheels, heated and power-adjustable front seats, heated rear seats, a convenient folding table in the center console, the premium Fisker Pulse sound system, and more. Additionally, the vehicle incorporates solar panels on its roof, a heated steering wheel, a digital rear-view mirror, a power-operated hatch, a surround-view camera system, and the innovative “California Mode” that lowers all the windows at the push of a button.

This particular Fisker Ocean One offered at auction remains in factory-spec condition, finished in Silver Lining paint with a MaliBlu interior and no reported modifications by the seller. The vehicle was purchased new in July 2023 and has accumulated only 1,700 miles, with no accidents documented in the included Carfax history report.

As the Fisker Ocean One graces the digital auction stage, automotive enthusiasts and collectors are eagerly watching to see how high the bidding will soar for this remarkable and exclusive electric SUV.
